Overview

Open Agents, Custom Websites, open a website, then select Page SEO. The former /platform/inbound/seo link opens Page SEO on the client's original website. Page SEO manages titles, meta descriptions, and eligible social-share images for the website you opened. Review defaults, pages, index pages, blog posts, and glossary terms without editing the site code.

How to use this page

  1. Open the right website

Choose the client in the client switcher at the top of the sidebar. Client users with one company see it automatically; with more than one, the page follows the company selected there. Open Agents, Custom Websites, select the website by name or Open, then select the Page SEO tab. The SEO rows and live links belong only to that website. Back to custom websites returns to the list of websites.

  2. Filter the SEO rows

Use Filter pages to search by the row label or URL path. Results are grouped as Defaults, Pages, Index pages, Blog, and Glossary.

  3. Review the status

Each row shows its path and whether it uses DEFAULT, CUSTOM, or READ-ONLY metadata. Draft eligible pages also show a DRAFT badge. Read-only rows cannot be expanded.

  4. Edit page metadata

Expand an editable row to enter a Title tag and Meta description. Eligible rows may also have a Social share image URL. The panel includes character guidance and a search preview.

  5. Save and view the page

Select Save after changing a row. Blank title or description values return to the site's default. When the site is live, select View page to open the matching URL in a new tab.

Common questions

Who can access SEO?
You need Inbound access for the selected client. Page SEO shows only the rows for the website you opened.
What is the difference between DEFAULT and CUSTOM?
DEFAULT uses the site's generated fallback metadata. CUSTOM means a value has been saved for that row.
Why is a row READ-ONLY?
Some index pages are controlled by the site system and cannot be edited from this page.
What are the character targets?
The page marks 60 characters as the ideal title maximum and 140 to 160 characters as the ideal meta-description range.
Do SEO edits need a deploy?
No. Saved metadata is stored for the hosted client site and is used on the next visit.
