Overview

Open Agents, Custom Websites, open a website, then select Blog. The former /platform/inbound/blog link opens Blog on the client's original website. Blog manages the posts on the website you opened. Create, edit, search, publish, unpublish, view, and delete posts, or ask the client's Website Expert to draft them.

How to use this page

  1. Open the right website

Choose the client in the client switcher at the top of the sidebar. Client users with one company see it automatically; with more than one, the page follows the company selected there. Open Agents, Custom Websites, select the website by name or Open, then select the Blog tab. The page loads only that website's posts. Back to custom websites returns to the list of websites.

  2. Find a post

The Blog tab lists each post with its title, URL path, category, updated date, and Published or Draft badge. When there are more than five posts, use Search to filter by title, slug, or category.

  3. Create a post

Select New post, then enter a title, optional category, excerpt, Body (HTML), SEO title, and SEO description. Check Published to put it live, then select Save. A title is required.

  4. Edit and publish

Select a row or its pencil icon to edit it. An existing slug is read-only so its URL remains stable. Use the eye control to publish a draft or unpublish a live post. Published rows also have a link to view the live page.

  5. Delete a post

Select the trash control and confirm. Deletion permanently removes the post and its hosted page.

Common questions

Who can access Blog?
You need Inbound access for the selected client. Blog shows only the posts for the website you opened.
What is the difference between Draft and Published?
Draft posts are saved here but are not visible on the live site. Published posts appear at their hosted /blog/slug URL.
Can I change a post's URL?
No. The slug is locked after creation so existing links continue to work.
Do I have to write the HTML?
You can write the Body (HTML) yourself or ask the client's Website Expert to draft a post into this list.
Will I lose unsaved edits?
Closing with unsaved changes asks you to confirm before the editor discards them.
