Overview

Open Agents, Custom Websites, open a website, then select Glossary. The former /platform/inbound/glossary link opens Glossary on the client's original website. Glossary manages definitions for the website you opened. Add, edit, search, publish, view, and remove glossary terms from the shared Website Content editor.

How to use this page

  1. Open the right website

Choose the client in the client switcher at the top of the sidebar. Client users with one company see it automatically; with more than one, the page follows the company selected there. Open Agents, Custom Websites, select the website by name or Open, then select the Glossary tab. The glossary is always scoped to that website. Back to custom websites returns to the list of websites.

  2. Find a term

The Glossary tab lists each term with its URL path, category, updated date, and Published or Draft badge. When there are more than five terms, use Search to filter by title, slug, or category.

  3. Add a glossary term

Select New term, enter a title, optional category, Short definition, Body (HTML), SEO title, and SEO description, then choose whether it is Published. Select Save to create the term.

  4. Edit or publish a term

Select a row or its pencil icon to reopen it. The existing slug is read-only. Use the eye control to publish or unpublish the term, and use the external-link control on published rows to view it on the live site.

  5. Delete a term

Select the trash control and confirm. Deletion permanently removes the glossary term and its hosted page.

Common questions

Who can access the Glossary page?
You need Inbound access for the selected client. Glossary shows only the terms for the website you opened.
Where does a published term appear?
Published terms appear on the client's hosted site under /glossary/slug, and the live-link control opens the page in a new tab.
Can I change a term's URL?
No. The slug is locked after creation so existing links remain stable.
Can the Website Expert write terms?
Yes. Ask the client's Website Expert to draft glossary content, then review and publish it from this page.
What happens when I delete a term?
The term and its hosted page are permanently removed after confirmation.
